No patient admitted in Any Anantnag hospital for Caronavirus: DC Anantnag

March 13, 2020: Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar in his message on Corona Virus has advised the people of the district not to be panic instead take preventive measures, as prevention is better than cure and adhere to the instructions being given by the Health Department. Refrain from unnecessarily travelling and gathering, the DC said. He added that, so far District Anantnag is very much safe from the infection and will remain so with the coordination of the people by taking the preventive measures. He said that special teams have been framed at District, Block and Zonal levels to monitor the situation, besides isolation wards have been made available in district hospital.
With regard to the people who have recently returned from the affected countries and those who have performed the Umrah recently, are being monitored, the DC said.
