One Day ‘Hindi Workshop’ Organized at CSRTI Pampore
Srinagar, Mar 13 : A day-long ‘Hindi Workshop’ was organized by the Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute (CSRTI) Gallander Pampore with an aim to familiarize the officials with correspondence in Hindi language.
An official said during the ‘Hindi Workshop’, officials of the institute were taught about the ‘Correspondence in Hindi Language’. “As CSRTI is an institute run by the Silk Board of Government of India, firsthand knowledge of Hind will help officials to keep a track of various developments, including schemes,” he said.
In the first session of the workshop titled ‘Correspondence in Hindi Language’, Dr Bhartendu Kumar Pathak, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, Kashmir University, said that to learn Hindi language is of paramount importance so that officials can be at ease with the official Hindi correspondence.
“When an official is acquainted with the Hindi Language, then it is possible that he/she can understand it himself/herself and make the other related people or officials understand,” he added.
He delivered a detailed lecture on the principles of the ‘Hindi Correspondence’.
Meanwhile, Dr S R Chowdhary, Director CSRTI, in his address underscored the importance of Hindi language, saying it is a language of brotherhood and religious harmony. “The aim behind organizing this workshop is to familiarize the officials with the correspondence in Hindi language,” he said.
In the second session of the workshop, Tashsim Ansari delivered an insightful speech on the importance of promotion and learning of Hindi language. Dr Sahadev Chouhan, Incharge Hindi Section of the institute, presented the vote of thanks besides talking at length on the technical terms of Hindi language.
