Militant recently joining JeM arrested in a late night CASO
Shopian, Mar 20,: In a late night search operation, Government Forces apprehended a militant who according to police had recently joined militant ranks.
Official sources told KNT that a cordon and search operation was launched at Marhang village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district after input about the presence of Jaish militant in the village.
Siege was laid around the village by soldiers from 44 Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu and Kashmir Police during which the militant was arrested. Police sources identified the arrested militant as Juniad Ahmed Sheergojri alias Saifullah Tawheedi, son of Muhammad Abdullah, a resident of Arihal Pulwama.
Juanid had joined Jaish ranks on 4 March this month. (KNT)
