78 people who completed quarantine period after returning from Leh walk home

They were part of first successful quarantine batch: ADC Sgr

Srinagar (KPS): The first group of 78 people quarantined at Hotel Heemal in Srinagar left for home today in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Haneef Balkhi.

The people have completed their quarantine period of fourteen days and all of them have tested negative for the COVID-19. A source told Kashmir Press Service that a flight carrying 78 people had arrived in Srinagar from Ladakh on eighteenth of this month and all the 78 passengers were quarantined.

The people in the group belonged to Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara, The source said adding that today all of them were sent home, after none of the passengers showed any signs of Corona virus infection.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Haneef Balkhi and other medical and paramedical officials saw the groupoff at hotel Heemal,Bulevard Road Srinagar and this was the first batch of people who completed their Quarantine period of 14 Days.(KPS)
