Tehsil administration Dangiwacha Rafiabad distributed free ration, essentials to 40 people

Srinagar, Apr 1: In view of Covid-19 pandemic the tehsil administration of Dangiwacha Rafiabad here in north Kashmir headed by tehsildar Sajad Ahmad Shah distributed free ration and other essential commodities among 40 migrant persons including labourers on Wednesday.

The people hailed the efforts of tehsildar and also thanked him for helping the needy in the grim situation.

While the govt announced the country-wide lockdown on the evening of March 24, as part of its efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The administration here said essential services including healthcare personnel have been exempted from the restrictions.

District administrations have put in place a mechanism to ensure uninterrupted supplies and deliveries of essential services to the general public. Essential commodities will be home-delivered to the residents as part of the mechanism.
