COVID-19:DC Kupwara Constitutes DLTF, Stresses for Universal Usage of Masks in District

Kupwara, April, 06: In order to ensure universal usage of masks in the district Kupwara , The Chairman District Disaster Management Authority (Deputy Commissioner) Kupwara, Anshul Grag today constituted a four member District Level Task force (DLTF) . The Committee comprises of District Health Officer, Assistant Director Handicrafts, District Panchayat Officer and District Social Welfare Officer.

The task force are directed to ensure the Universal usage of masks in the district, production and distribution of masks in light of government order through
mobilizing all local resources for stitching of masks, finalize sample and ensure quality standard in the masks procured locally as per
guidelines. The committee has to finalize rates and distribution mechanism to cover entire population within period of
two weeks. They have to also place logistic arrangements for supply of raw material and collection of ready masks and ensure proper inventory is maintained and distribution of cloth masks in
the district. The committee has also to workout total requirement of funds for covering all PHH and AAY beneficiaries.
