J&K:Grenade hurled towards CRPF Post in Bijbehara
Srinagar, April 7: A grenade blast left two troopers injured in Goriwan Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sources said that unknown persons hurled a grenade towards 116 Battalion at Goriwan in which a couple of troopers were wounded. Witnesses told KNT that CRPF personnel fired some shots in air after the blast.
The area was cordoned off after the incident and a search operation was launched.
A police official said that a trooper received minor splinter injuries and he is stable. (KNT)
