Handwara (PR): Today on 18.04.2020,Handwara Police in continuing its drive against social evils, Police Party of PS Handwara got a lead and following the information, apprehended 04 gamblers namely:
1)Fasil Bashir S/o Bashir Ahmad Gazi R/o Kargama.
2)Mudasir Ahmad War S/o Gh Mohd War R/o Kargama.
3)Umer Rashid Lone S/o Ab Rashid Lone R/o Kargama.
4)Aqib Ahmad Shiekh S/o Mohd Akbar Shiekh R/o Chotipora Handwara.
From the spot stake money and playing cards were recovered.
In this regard case FIR No. 125/20 U/S 04 Gambling Act stands registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation taken up.
This is in continuation of the efforts of Handwara Police to curb the social evils.
General Public has applauded the Police action.
