Mayor, Dy Mayor, others sent to home quarantine
SMC commissioner takes review meeting of various issues
Srinagar, May 4: The administration has decided to send Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and corporators to home quarantine.
They will remain in home quarantine till the test report of corporator Majid Rashid comes negative who will be tested day after tomorrow.
The brother of the corporator had tested Covid19 positive.
According to the officials, Mayor Junaid Mattu, Deputy Mayor Parvaiz Qadri , corporators and additonal personal private staff of Mayor and Deputy Mayor Office.
Meanwhile Commissioner SMC Gazanafar Hussain today took a review meeting of officers of SMC regarding the status of removal of encroachments, mast lights, sanitation in the city.
A senior SMC official rubbished the reports regarding sending of commisioner and other officers to quarantine.
” The office of Mayor is almost 400 meters away from SMC Commissioners office. And the corporator has not visited Commissioner’s office from a long time,.” he told KNS.
