Srinagar, May 21: An elderly woman who died at SMHS Hospital on Wednesday evening was tested positive for Covid-19 after her death.
The 80 year old woman from Usmania Colony Bemina area of Sringar city was admitted in SMHS Hospital on May 19 and she died next day.
Nodal Officer for Coronavirus at SMHS Hospital, Dr Saleem told news agency KNT that woman was suffering from acute pneumonia and hypertension as a result she breathed her last yesterday evening.
“Her body was kept at moratorium at GMC Srinagar and today her test for Covid-19 was found positive. Proper Covid protocol will be followed while performing her last rites,” Dr Saleem said.
