Srinagar,May 22 : Awantipora Police on Friday claimed to have arrested two Militants associates of Ansar Gazwat Ul Hind and Hizb-Ul -Mujahdeen from Tral and Awantipora areas who are involved in providing shelter, support, logistics and passing sensitive information to the Militants of proscribed outfit AuGH and HM.
The police in a statement issued to KPS said The arrested associates have been identified as Sayar Ahmad Shah from Tral and Tanseem @ Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh from Awantipora.
Incriminating material has been recovered from both the arrested persons.
Case F.I.R number 46/2020 and 68/2020 stands registered against the said arrested persons in Police Station Tral and Police Station Awantipora respectively under relevant sections of the law. ,the statement said.
