The meeting was held in the backdrop of the scrapping of SRO 202 for fresh recruitments. The President expressed his heartfelt gratitude to State Administrative Council headed by hon’ble LG Shri G. C. Murmu for taking the decision of doing away with anti-employee and anti-youth SRO 202 and reducing the probation period of the employees already recruited under this flawed SRO from 5 to 2 years. The President hoped that the scrapping of this SRO will infuse a fresh lease of life in the demoralised but qualified youth and will definitely improve the work culture in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
