Using sub-standard material: Under construction bridge collapses in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, June 24: An under construction bridge built by Roads and Building Department has collapsed in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The bridge is being built in Ganerhama Ganderbal at the cost of Rs 20 lakh connecting scores of villages with one another.
Sources told news agency that the under construction bridge collapsed partially during Tuesday night hours. People accused Contractors of using sub-standard material for personal gains.
Sources added that this bridge is being constructed by two Contractors of Saloora Ganderbal identified as Muhammad Rafiq Sofi and Muhammad Shafi Malik.
