Congress leader Altaf Malik has urged government to come up with comprehensive package for dying apple industry and other economic employment generate vital sectors like agriculture tourism transport artisan which is the need of an hour Altaf reiterated that post 5th august 2019 urest natural disasters and now lockdown not only hit the livelihood of labour class but affects these sectors which are largest economic and employment generate sectors and the people directly or indirectly involved are hardly surviving altaf added & urged government to promote & upgrade these sectors which are main source of income too altaf further demands implementation of market intervention scheme crop insurance scheme will benefit the orchardists & kissans because during current year substandard pesticides fertilizer has destroyed apple industry & maximum fruits are scab infected the kcc loans be waived off to mitigate the losses
