Kangan, July 5: The three hour cordon and search operation concluded peacefully in Gujarpati, Theun Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Police sources told news agency KNT that after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area, soldiers from 24 Rashtriya Rifles, SOG Kangan brought Gujarpati area under siege and conducted search operation.
The operation ended on peaceful note and no contact with any militant was established. (KNT)
