Untraceable for 19 years, Budgam man arrives home

Budgam, July 13: Man presumed to be dead has returned to his home after a gap of 19 years.

Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah son of Muhammad Yousuf, a resident of Khag Budgam went missing during his Mumbai visit in 2001. The man was then 46 years old.

A family member of the man told news agency KNT that it was police who traced him in Mumbai. “We had lodged a missing report way back in 2001 and today all were shocked to see him again. He is now 65 years old,” he said.

“Though we are happy on his arrival but at the same it pains us to see, he is unable to walk and using wheel chair,” he said. (KNT)
