LG Murmu visits Kupwara, assured to initiate immediate works on developmental projects

Kupwara: Lieutenant Governor G.C. Murmu Saturday visited north frontier district Kupwara and took stock of developmental projects.
LG also visited Handwara and met Municipal Committee Handwara chairman, Masroor Ahmad Banday. During the meeting between the two, LG assured that work on all developmental projects will start soon.
He assured that all the roads in the district including Handwara will be properly macadamized immediately so that people will not face any problem.
LG Murmu also assured Banday that a branch of Kashmir University north campus will be established very soon in Handwara.
Besides that LG said that to provide quality education to the students of the area, government is looking to set up a women’s college in the area.
