Jammu: Corporator Sahil Gupta from Municipal Committee Bishnah Hoisted National Flag at Village Majua, Panchayat Majua of Bishnah Constituency.
Addressing the workers and on the occasion, Gupta urged the countrymen to celebrate Independence Day with happiness and enthusiasm.
Remembering all those fighters who laid their life for our freedom; Gupta said that it’s a matter of pride for us that we have the opportunity to work as a citizen of India at a time when the country is taking a leap with the hope of becoming one of the developed nations in the world. It is the transformation of India into a strong, prosperous and modern country. In the present scenario, the task of India’s foreign policy is to protect and secure India’s integrity, citizens, values and assets, and to enable the development and transformation of India into a modern nation in which every Indian can achieve his or her full potential. India has a long way to go, despite all that it has achieved since independence.
This task does not limit India’s calculus to its own territory but also demands that it has an active engagement with the world.
