Srinagar, Sep 9: Residents of Mominabad (Lane 10) of Batamaloo area of Srinagar have appealed to police authorities to identify and punish the burglars who are on prowl in the locality.
The locals told KNT that burglars are giving them sleepless nights while from past 2 months, three incidents of burglary have occurred in the locality.
They said yesterday thieves tried to break into the house of one Haji Muhammad Shafi and Ahamadullah Khan but the family members foiled their bid, however, they managed to escape from the spot.
“We request police to identify and punish these thieves,” the locals told KNT.
