Team Led By Principal GMC Jammu Visits, Enquires Well-Being of Patients Under Isolation

Srinagar/Jammu, Sep 16 : Principal Government College Jammu Dr. Nasib Chand Digra alongside a team of top doctors on Tuesday visited and enquired about the well-being of patients receiving treatment at ‘Isolation Facility’ in the College.

An official told GNS that Dr. Nasib Chand Digra, Principal Government Medical College Jammu along with Dr. Keerti Bhushan Sharma, Medical Superintendent Psychiatric Diseases Hospital Jammu officiating Superintendent GMC (from today), Medical Officer Store Dr. Trisal, doctors and nursing staff had a detailed bedside round/inspection of COVID19 Isolation facility at the College.

“It was observed that in total 32 patients were admitted in the Facility against the bed strength of 33”, the official said adding “even as two patients were discharged today.”

The team, as per the official visited each patient personally and enquired about their well being, expectations and requirements. “All patients were satisfied with the arrangements and their medical management”, the official said.

“The patients maintained that doctors are visiting them regularly and any emergency medical complaints are being dealt with swiftly.”

“Some minor logistical problems which the patients told were dealt with then and there only”, the official said adding “It was impressed upon the clinic team to leave no stone unturned in the best possible management of patients.”

“The administrative team was asked to provide appropriate logistical support to the staff members and patients”, the official further said. (GNS)
