Unknown youth snatches rifle from JK Bank Guard in South Kashmir
Tral, Sep 19: Unidentified persons snatched a 12-Bore rifle from a Bank Guard in South Kashmir’s Tral town of Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Sources told news agency KNT that a young man accompanied by two others emerged at Jammu Kashmir Bank branch at Dadsara Tral. One among them snatched the rifle of security guard. The security guard showed stiff resistance but was over powered by the youth.
Sources said that bank guard was injured in the scuffle and shifted to hospital.
A police official identified the bank guard as Muhammad Yasin Khatana.
The youth fled from the spot after snatching the rifle. Area has been cordoned off and search operation launched to nab the rifle snatcher. (KNT)
