Srinagar, Sep 28: Two persons were killed and one was injured in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here on Monday.
They said three vehicles collided with each other after a Load Carrier hit a motorcycle at Vailoo in Kokernag Anantnag late on Sunday evening. “The injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where one of them was declared brought dead,” they said, adding the two other injured were referred to a hospital in Srinagar.
They said one more person succumbed at a Srinagar hospital on Monday morning. “The driver of the Load Carrier fled the spot,” they said, adding police has registered a case and initiated investigation to identity the accused driver.
