Government employee arrested with large consignment of drugs in Chadoora

Srinagar, Oct 01: Police Station Chadoora on Thursday apprehended a government employee, with a consignment of contraband drugs and pushed him behind the bars.

A police official, while identifying the arrested person as Arfat Ahmed Yatoo (30), son of Mohammad Maqbool Yatoo and a resident of Nagam, Chadoora in central Kashmir district Budgam told news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that he was caught with 13 Corex bottles and 960 seductive tablets from the Chadoora area, which he was carrying in a bag.

Arafat, the official said is a government employee and is presently posted as a clerk in Government Higher Secondary School Chadoora.

A case has been registered in this regard under FIR No.170/20, U/S 8/22 NDPS in Police station Chadoora, he added. (KDC)
