BJP’s J&K Chief Ravinder Raina visits families of Shopian fake encounter victims
Rajouri, Oct 12 : In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir chief of BJP Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) on Monday visited Tarkassi Peeri and Dhar Sakri villages of Kotranka tehsil in Rajouri district and offered condolences to the families of Amshipora, Shopian fake encounter victims.
The development comes barely a few days after J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the area and met with the aggrieved family members and assured logical conclusion of ongoing probe and justice in case.
Today, BJP chief for J&K Raina visited both Tarkassi Peeri as well as Sakri Dhar village of Rajouri and met with the family members of Mohammad Ibrar, Imtiyaz Ahmed and Ibrar Ahmed, trio who got killed in July 18 fake encounter in Amshipora, Shopian.
The family members told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Raina offered his condolences to them and assured that law enforcement agencies shall provide justice on merits.
“He also offered condolences on behalf of Prime Minister and stated that everyone is pained to see loss of three young lives,” the family members of victims said—(KNO)
