Girl strangulates to death while playing swing at her maternal home in North Kashmir

Bandipora, Oct 13: In a tragic incident, a 7 year old girl lost her life after reportedly being strangulated in the rope while playing swing at her maternal home in Madwan area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The girl hails from Hajin area and was presently at her maternal home in Madwan.

Local sources identified the deceased as Shabnam Amin daughter of Muhammad Amin Bhat, a resident of Hajin Sonawari.

“While playing swing at her maternal house, her neck caught in a loop of the rope. She died on the spot,” said a local adding that she was buried at her ancestral graveyard in Hajin. (KNT)
