My town, my pride an initiative to ease out peoples worries: Advisor Baseer Khan
Visits Lasjan area of city, meets public delegations, listens to grievances, assures timely redressal
Srinagar, Oct 19 :Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s advisor Baseer Ahmed Khan Monday said that ‘My town, My Pride’ initiative of the government was aimed at easing out the worries of people and resolving their issues on priority and in a time-bound manner.
According to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Advisor Baseer Ahmed Khan visited Lasjana area of Srinagar to oversee the ‘My town, My pride’ program and met several public delegations and listened to their issues.
Speaking to media men, Advisor Khan said that the basic purpose of the ‘My town, My pride’ program is to reach out to the people at the grass root level. “This is aimed at public participation and devolution. Every officer is participating in the program. Even LG sir has gone to Baramulla today,” he said.
Advisor Khan said that ‘My town, My pride’ program is aimed at filling gaps and addressing peoples issues on priority. “ Sarpanchs, panchs, and large number of people participated in the program. Several public delegations raised a series of issues. I assured them I will address their concerns. Issues pertaining to my domain will be resolved on priority,” he said—(KNO)
