Bandipora, Nov 09 : Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Owais Ahmad on Monday asked all the employees posted in Gurez sub-division to report for their duties immediately, failing which strict action will be taken against the employees.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DC Bandipora directed the employees to report at their places of postings in Gurez in view of the district development council elections.
“All the employees who are posted in Gurez sub-division are directed to report at their places of postings immediately without fail. Non-compliance will be dealt with strictly, “DC Bandipora has said.
He has also asked the sub-divisional magistrate of Gurez and tehsildars of Gurez and Tulail respectively to ensure attendance of the employees.
Pertinently, the notification for the conduct of district development council election was issued last week and the elections are scheduled to be held in a phased manner from November 28 in Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
