Ceasefire violation along LoC in Kathua district; Several houses damaged
Kathua, Nov 18,: India on Wednesday accused Pakistan of violating ceasefire agreement, between the two countries along Line of Control (LoC), at various outposts of Kathua district in Jammu division.
Quoting sources, news agency KDC reported that Pakistani Rangers on Tuesday night at 9.10 pm resorted to unprovoked cross border shelling in various outposts of Kathua district along LoC, in which several houses were damaged, creating panic among the residents, who took shelter in the underground bunkers to save their lives.
The outposts, which came under Pakistan Rangers unprovoked attack, include Satpal, Manyari, Gurnam and Karol Krishna.
According to the report Indian army responded the attack befittingly and effectively and the cross border shelling continued till 4.30 in the Wednesday morning. (KDC)
