BJP leader receives threatening phone call in Rajouri, audio clip goes viral
Rajouri, (KNO): A phone call recording has gone viral in Rajouri in which a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has been threatened of dire consequences for asking people to vote for BJP while the name of a Block Development Council Chairman is coming to the fore for allegedly being involved in the act.
As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the audio clip is viral on social media platforms in which a person, reportedly a Block Development Council Chairman, is heard abusing a BJP worker from Doongi area of Rajouri.
In this audio clip, the said person is heard abusing BJP leader for
asking people to vote in favour of BJP candidate from Doongi DDC constituency of Rajouri district where voting took place on Sunday under sixth phase.
“I will teach you a life long lesson and you will never take risk to indulging in politics,” a man, reportedly BDC Chairman, is heard telling the BJP worker.
“I will split your body into pieces for your act of asking people to vote in favour of BJP candidate,” the caller can further be heard threatening to BJP worker.
Meanwhile, a police officer said that cognizance of the matter has been taken and written report has registered while further investigation is going on.
