Kupwara, Dec 27 : In an unfortunate fire mishap three residential house were gutted in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday night.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said fire broke out in the residential house of Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Late Khazir Mohammad Bhat which later engulfed to other three houses belonged to Ghulam Mohammad Bhat son of Dilawar Bhat, Ghulam Qudir Bhat son of Mohammad Afzal Bhat and Master Farooq Ahmad Bhat of Kralpora Kupwara.
According to officials no casualties have been reported in the mishap however properties worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch on being informed, police, fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames. The officer said the cause of fire was not known immediately.
