CIK conducted raids at several locations in Kashmir

Jailed Waheed Para’s residence, Star hospital in Srinagar were searched

Srinagar, Dec 30, KDC: A team of Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK), wing of Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday carried out raids in different locations in South and central Kashmir.

Sources told news agency KDC that CIK sleuths accompanied by a team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police conducted searches in Anantnag, Pulwama and Srinagar districts of Kashmir valley.

A top police official told news agency KDC the house of one Umar Wani resident of Anantnag, Ghulam Nabi of Seer Anantnag and residence of jailed PDP youth leader Waheed ur Rehman Para were searched in south Kashmir.

He said in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district the searches were carried at Star hospital owned by Dr Samiullah a resident of Kelan village of Pulwama and residence of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Malangpora Pulwama at present in Batwara area of Srinagar.

“Many important documents were seized in these raids and the case is related to militancy funding and further details about this case will be shared later,” he added. (KDC)
