Temporary tent caught fire in Narbal, 5 family members sustained burn injuries, hospitalized

Srinagar, Jan 18: Five persons on Monday sustained burn injuries after a temporary tent caught fire in Narbal area of the outskirts of Srinagar city.

An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a temporary tent which was established by a family from Nagrota Jammu suddenly caught fire in which five members sustained burn injuries.

All the injured were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment, where their condition is stated to be stable.

He identified the injured as Bashir Ahmad, Sakina, Sahil Ahmad, Imtiyaz Ahmad, and Azad Ahmad, all members of the same family from Nagrota Jammu.

He added that the cause of fire is being asserted adding that police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KDC)
