Ghulam Muhammad Masoodi passes away
His Nimaz-e-Jinazah will be offered at 10:30 am at Rawalpora tomorrow, to be laid to rest near historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar
Srinagar, Jan 27: Ghulam Muhammad Masoodi, son of Late Ali Sahab Masoodi (Pampori), who was the uncle of wife of Kashmir’s Grand Mufti Nasirul Islam, passed away after a brief spell of illness this evening.
His Nimaz-e-Jinazah will be offered at 10:30 AM tomorrow at Rawalpora, Srinagar, after which he will be laid to rest at their ancestral graveyard near historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Grand Mufti Nasir ul Islam expressed his heartfelt condolence over the demise of Masoodi stating that the deceased was a great and pious soul and practicing Muslim, who never compromised on his principles.
