Timely, prompt initiative last midnight by J&K Yateem Foundation volunteers saves precious human life

Srinagar: In a rare daring initiative in hostile weather conditions, the timely promptt intervention by volunteers associated with J&K Yateem Foundation Bandipora Unit helped to save a precious human life.

Last night in chilling subvzero temperature, JKYF Bandipora Unit received an SOS that a critically ill 52 year old patient namely Gh Rasool from Bonakote area of the district needed immediate shifting to Srinagar hospital for emergency treatment. The patient was admitted and provided timely medical intervention thereby helping in saving a precious human life.

In view of urgency, JKYF rushed its ambulance at 3 A.M. during intervening night of January 31 & February 01 and shifted the patient to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

Braving harsh frozen slippery road condition, the ambulance driver Nissar Ahmad Khan worked and acted courageously, wisely while holding nerves in chilling cold conditions and made it possible to reach hospital in minimum possible time, by the grace of Almighty Allah.

The family members of the patient and people in general in the district appreciated the courageous and humanitarian service of J&K Yateem Foundation volunteers.

JKYF Chairman Mohammad Ahsan Rather and all other district volunteers have appreciated the courageous act of ambulance driver Nissar Khan describing his humanitarian act as a beacon for other volunteers.
