Old Foot over bridge collapses at Bandipora village

Bandipora, Mar 04: An old foot over bridge (walkway slab) collapsed at Ajas village in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday early morning, halting pedestrian movement.

Locals told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that a decade old foot over bridge located near Teli Mohalla completely caved due to water flow of Baedkul Nallah passing underneath the bridge.

They said, no one was hurt as there was no movement of people on the over bridge at the time of the incident.

They blamed authorities of turning deaf ears towards them as according to them they had already informed the authorities of the dilapidated condition of the bridge.

They appealed Deputy Commissioner Bandipora to personally look into the matter and redress their grievances as soon as possible. (KDC)
