Handwara: Continuing war of Handwara Police against menace of drug abuse police party of Police Station *Kralgund* established naka in market Kralgund and checked Vehicles and pedestrians.
During checking one suspected person on seeing the police party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by the naka party. The suspected person was identified as *Arif Ahmad Najar S/o Ab Aziz R/o Kralgund*
During his search *30 grams* of brown sugar like substance has been recovered from his possession.
Accordingly case *FIR NO. 15/21 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act* has been registered in Police Station Kralgund and investigation taken.
These efforts are hugely hailed by the general masses. Handwara Police has appealed general public to co-operate in sharing all the information related to drug abuse so that curative steps can be taken.
