Nearly 4350 Precious Lives Saved During Pandemic in J&K, Courtesy 108 Ambulance Services
Jammu, Apr 20: 108 Ambulance Services have been highly instrumental in saving lives of over four thousand persons in Jammu and Kashmir since the outbreak of novel Coronavirus infection, official details reveal.
The details available with news agency Global News Service (GNS) suggest that till date 1653 Covid suspects have been shifted to hospitals for treatment and lives of 4350 COVID patients have been saved due to timely evacuation to hospitals and after provision of pre-hospital care during shifting of the these critical Covid patients.
It is pertinent to mention that Jammu & Kashmir Emergency Medical Services (108-102 Ambulance Service) is a Government of Jammu & Kashmir sponsored initiative in Public Private Partnership with BVG India Ltd.
The programme launched in Jammu & Kashmir on March 24, 2020 with a fleet of 139 Ambulances, stationed in each of the districts, has been highly instrumental in saving lives of 54396 Emergency Patients so far.(GNS)
