Authorities Notify Bed Capacity for COVID-Dedicated Hospitals in Jammu, Kashmir Hospitals

Srinagar/Jammu, Apr 24: Health Department authorities have notified the bed capacity for each of the COVID-dedicated hospitals’ in Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

In the communicated notification to Principal, Govt. Medical College Srinagar/ Jammu and Director Health Services, Kashmir/ Jammu, a replica of which lies with Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS), authenticated by Deputy Director Planning, Health & Medical Education Department, the dedicated hospitals in Jammu and Kashmir will have an aggregate of 1705 seats with Jammu having 511 and Kashmir 1194 respectively.

The break-up in seats in Jammu-based hospitals is – Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu 90; 2 C.D. Hospital, Jammu 110; MCH Complex, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu 98; CHC Ramgarh 25; Old Hospital Kishtwar 70; SDH Nagri Parole 30; CHC Chenani 80; AH Ghagwal and Samba 08.

In Kashmir-based hospitals the break-up is – C.D. Hospital, Srinagar 104; JLNM Hospital 150; Kashmir Nursing Home 50; SDH Sopore 50; Trauma Hospital Bijbehara 110; NTPHC Akhura Mattan 50; MCH Kulgam 60; NTPHC New Building Pethkot Budgam 40; NTPHC New Building Parisabad Budgam 30; PHC Channapora Budgam 34; NTHPC Bandipora (Maternity Center Sanavni) 100; CHC Dawar 30; Tibiya College Shivath Bandipora 56; CHC Hajin 80; and Army Hospital JAKLI, Rangreth, Srinagar 250.
