JK Teachers Forum Led By Rafique Rather hold virtual meeting with DSEK

Srinagar (PR): DSEK Dr Tassaduq Hussain impressed upon teaching community to use all available options to reach out to the students enrolled in schools.this was stated by worthy DSEK in a virtual meeting with top functionaries of jammu kashmir Teachers forum which was also attended by Chairman JKTF Mohd Rafique Rather, President JKTF Mohd Afzal Bhat and Provincial President Showket Ali Baig.
In a press statement JKTF said that leaders of the organisation had requested for a virtual meeting, which was acceded to and a threadbare discussion was held on all issues pertaining to difficulties and problems being faced by teaching community in reaching out to the children through social media plateform and urged for use if TV and radio as one of the option to impart education effectively.
Leaders of JKTF thanked worthy DSEK for redressal of some important issues tabled by JKTF in its first interaction on assuming the charge and extended appreciation and falicitation to worthy DSEK for accelerating pace of disposal of files at Directorate.
Worthy DSEK thanked leaders of JKTF for their selfless support and cooperation in getting the things in order and assured them of redressal of all pending issues within his jurisdiction and added that issues beyond his purview shall be recommended to higher ups for early redressal.On the occassion Dr Tassaduq Hussain impressed upon teaching community to work with zeal and prove their mettle with the available means and options with them.He said no nation can compromise on education and teachers being the back bone of the system need to come forward to play their rule to benefit society in exta ordinary situations.He said that JKTF need to create awareness among teaching community to rise to the occassion to excell in challenging and unprecedented situations.
Chairman jktf Rafique Rather assured worthy Director of unflinching support and cooperation on behalf of JKTF and added that in addition to imparting education to students, teachers have volunteered themselves as front line warriors to fight COVID with local administrations.
On the occassion memorandum of demands confronting teaching community was submitted virtually for redressal on priority.

¶ Placement and adjustment of Head Teachers against substantive posts of masters.

¶ Confirmation of masters of batch 2014.

¶ Pending regularisation of ReT’s who’s files stand cleared

¶ Conversion of Graduate teachers to Grade 2.

¶ Release of salary in favour of regularized teachers who’s salaries have been put on hold on the pretext of adverse reports as Honorable court has already directed to release the salaries.

¶ Non drawl of 7th pay commission arrears of Head teachers by sone Zoe’s in various Districts despite availability of budget Pertinently some CEOs have issued the directions to ZEOs to deposit the same into GPF funds while as most of ceos have drawn these arrears in cash.

¶ Consideration of transition of teachers with Adeeb pass certificates and release of their salaries thereof.

¶ Speedy disposal of GPF cases pending in Directorate for months longer.

Worthy Director School Education gave a patient hearing and with utmost care assured sympathetic consideration of all the issues raised by the leaders.
