Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA) has welcomed the decision of Govt for appointing DR.A.K. Mehta as the new Chief Secretary of J&K.
Neyaz Qadri President JKAEA said that being a man of integrity & honesty, his new assignment will usher a positive & healthy change in the working system of J&K Govt.
“Knowing his ability & measures he has taken in streamlining the functioning of Finance Deptt. it is hoped that his interventions in administration will also yield effective & positive results for the welfare of the people & employees of J&K as a whole”, he added.
Meanwhile, all the units of JKAEA viz J&K Civil Secretariat Unit, Kashmir Unit & Jammu Unit have applauded the decision and shared their warmest congratulations with Mehta sahib for taking over the new and leading role in the J&K’s administration.Secretariat Unit comprising of Neyaz Qadri (President), Sanjay Sadhu (V.P & Publicity Secretary JKCSNGEU), G.N Tantray (Gen.Secretary); Kashmir Unit lead by Mushtaq Ah.Mughal (President), Hilal Ah.Wani(V.P), Ab Hammid Wani (Gen.Secy) & Jammu Unit lead by Kamal Pathania (President), Adrash (V.P), Shiv Paul (Gen.Secy) and their respective teams including District Bodies have welcomed the decision and shared their hearty congratulations with Mehta on this occasion.
