Unveiling Mr Edlyne platform, a breakthrough in innovation to redefine the service industry in Kashmir

Srinagar – May 29, 2021 – Mr Edlyne continues to innovate with the launch of a new platform that enables our own local service professionals and communities to get connected with the consumers directly, combining technology and skill, to bring to life a ground-breaking customer experience.

Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) latest report reveals, the unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir was 9 per cent at the end of March, 2021, which is still above the national average unemployment which stands at 6.9 per cent.

Building on the values and art of our local professionals, Mr Edlyne is also rooted in lowering costs and alleviating congestion. To meet the specific needs of shorter, regular services, Mr Edlyne created an entirely new product.

• Unprecedented AI advances: As soon as the platform detects a specific booking, it assigns a “request” to it — just like a route on public transport — with pick-up and drop-off points along the way. Professional service engineers are attributed the request that most closely matches their skillset and don’t need to rely on visits first.

This solution offers great freedom to consumers who no longer have to depend on the calendar constraints of a colleague or a neighbour. Categories will develop organically as more bookings come online and popular demands emerge, with a coverage adjusting naturally to service density.

• A frictionless organisation: With Mr Edlyne, matching between the service professional and consumer is automatic. Consumers don’t need to contact several professionals and agree on a time or meeting points. Instead, both are automatically matched and assigned making it easier to set up a booking on short notice.

According to Gowher Bashir, Edlyne Times Pvt Ltd Founder: “Our mission is to optimise the use this platform for a steady increase in employment. It is, therefore, natural to create a solution that meets those needs specifically, to overcome the current hurdles, and to develop its usage at scale. Local communities have a key role to play in encouraging behavioural changes, in improving connections between our own professionals and consumers. We look for inspiration to continuously evolve our approach to design and innovation”
