Casual labour critically injured after falling from mountain in Bandipora

Bandipora, Jul 15 : A 37-year-old casual labour, working in Sheep husbandry department was critically injured after he fell from a mountain in Dardpora forest area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a casual labour identified as Ghulam Mohammad Khan, son Abdul Aziz Khan of Dardpora was critically injured after he slipped and fell from a mountain in Dardpora forests while performing his duty.

“Soon after the incident, the injured was evacuated by locals to a nearby health center wherefrom he was shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for specialized treatment,” an official said.

The official said that the injured is being treated at hospital while his condition is said to be critical.

District Sheep Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Dr. Showket Ahmad also confirmed the incident and said that they are accompanying the injured employee at the hospital—(KNO)
