Srinagar, Aug 07: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Saturday condemned the callous attitude of additional deputy commissioner Handwara for what they called as his habit of no work approach while exercising his powers as sub-registrar under Registration Act.

In a statement, issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said that JKHCBA in an extra ordinary meeting held today under the chairmanship of advocate NA Ronga condemned the action of ADC Handwara who is said to be in the habit of no work approach, while exercising his powers as sub-registrar under Registration Act.

“He is also said to be in the habit of humiliating the lawyers and passing derogatory remarks against them. The Bar Association condemns this callous attitude of ADC Handwara in strong words,” reads the statement.

It reads that the Bar Association extends its support and solidarity to the Bar Association Handwara and assures it that the matter would be agitated before the Chief Justice and Administrative Judge of the High Court in respect of the callous attitude of concerned Additional Deputy Commissioner—(KNO)
