J&K Awami Awaz Party Urges Justice to Street Vendors of Kashmir
Srinagar: In an important development, The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Awaz party has urged upon the authorities to ensure Justice to the street vendors of Kashmir.
The Party Chairman Suhail Ahmad Khan urged the honorable LG Manoj Sinha to take note of the suffering of the daily wagers who depend on street vending for their daily livelihood.
He made it clear that the Pandemic of Coronavirus has already broken the back of poor people and administrators going on an onslaught over their right to exist is matter of great worry.
Suhail Ahmad Khan urged that the street vendors need an honorable rehabilitation and their right to life should be protected.
Syed Irfan Hashmi the Party General Secretary stated that often heartrending scenes of gruesome atrocities committed against the street vendors and their goods being smashed and wasted is paining the people of Kashmir.
J&K Awami Awaz party reaffirmed that thousands of families in Kashmir eat bread and butter only due to minimum earnings through this street vendor business. The party also urged the setting of many street vending places and zones for poor masses of Kashmir.
