J&K Awami Awaz Party Leads Strong Protest Against Srinagar Acid Attack On Girl , Lays Out Charter of Demands

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Awami Awaz Party took a massive and impressive peaceful protest March against the heinous acid attack that took place on Young girl of Srinagar on 1 February, 2022.

Hundreds of youngsters including boys and girls lead a March against this gruesome episode under the leadership of Awami Awaz Party at Partap Park Lalchowk today .
The placards displayed ifferent slogans protesting the gruesome incident .
The placards had written on them : Don’t throw Acid on Humanity . Save My Dignity I am your Daughter .Stop Acid Violence. There were series of other slogans protesting the move .

Awami Awaz leadership congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir police for capturing the three beasts responsible for the heinous acid attack . It demanded death penalty to all these criminals so that we don’t have any acid attack in the near future.
The peaceful protest against acid attack was lead by Awami Awaz top leadership President Suhail Ahmad Khan, General Secretary Syed Irfan Hashmi,
Adil Ismail Modi , Provincial President Kashmir , Mehran Reshi Vice President and
Nadeem Shafi Rather J&K Awami Aawaz Party secretary.
Awami Aawaz expressed pain that the victim, who is from Srinagar’s Eidgah area, had rejected the engagement proposal of the accused who started stalking her. “The accused [also from Srinagar] used to work in a medical shop.

Awami awaz stressed a special bill covering the acid attack victims . A law that mandates the free healthcare and rehabilitation services be given to victims of acid burns in order to help them cope with the physical and psychological disabilities that acid attacks entail . The law should carry tough life imprisonment or death sentence for heinous criminals involved in acid attacks.

Awami Awaz Party hoped blanket ban on sale of acid as Despite Supreme Court ban, acid is still being sold in markets openly at cheap price.
