KAS induction, Feeding Service Officers show resentment,Appeal for Redressal

Srinagar: The Feeding Service Officers (FSOs) have expressed anguish over the selective induction of the officers into time scale and appealed LG Shri Manoj Sinha to intervene into the matter so that the deserving officers get their legitimate rights. “We are unable to understand what procedure the General Administration Department (GAD) has adopted while allocating slots to 19 services (Jr, KAS officers and the officers of Feed Services ,
18 departments)” they expressed. This is first time when the slots were allocated in fractured manner without taking into account the seniority and interests of the feeding service officers, who are stagnated for a long time” the officers said.
Earlier, all the available slots were kept in pool and the 18 services and Jr. KAS were allocated slots as per their carder strength, but this time, adoption of replacement procedure is beyond our understanding, the officers further added.

They said that Government is making every now and then assertions that transparency would be the bench mark of the administration, but why GAD is not coming clear about the availability and allocation of slots to all the 19 services prior to allocating slots under time scale, the officers asked.
“If we are not given of our rights, there will be no alternative with us but to knock the doors of justice” the officers said. ” However, we are optimistic about the fairness of Hon’ble LG and Chief Secretary and hope that our grievance would be looked into at higher level with utmost sympathy.
