J&K Awami Aawaz Party holds one day youth and women Empowerment conclave at Partap Park Lalchowk Srinagar

Srinagar: The Historic Lal chowk area in Srinagar , Kashmir was abuzz with youth and women issues/ Empowerment conclave wherein huge number of youth under Jammu Kashmir Awami Aawaz Party participated .

The participants had different placards with impressive writings on them like “Let us decide our Future positively ” and Kindness wins .

In his speech the Spokesperson Youth wing Awami Aawaz Party Mohd Arif Mir termed the monster of drug addiction as the single biggest enemy of growth of Kashmir and vowed that JK Awami Aawaz Party would in cooperation root out this menace of drug addiction.

He also stated that lack of quality job opportunities and rapid unemployment is giving rise to drug addiction and depression in Kashmir.

The others who participated were Youth in-charge Kashmir Ishfaq Majeed, Mukthar Ahmad Youth in-charge South Kashmir, Qaiser Ahmad Malik In-charge Youth North Kashmir, Danish Ilahi Bhat in-charge Kupwara , Adil Mir Youth in-charge Budgam.

The Awami Awaz Party leadership reaffirmed that it would take all steps to make life of youth beautiful in Kashmir.

While stressing on Akhir Kab Tak , the Awami Aawaz Party leadership vowed not to tolerate heinous crimes against women like acid attacks .

The JK Awami Aawaz Party stated on occasion that Women are half of World population and equal partners in peace and progress of any society.

The recent horrible acid attack in Srinagar Kashmir brought to notice horrors faced by women of Kashmir.
Over the years Domestic Violence has been on continuously rising in the Kashmir valley.
The need of the having women Empowerment in Kashmir is felt all the more with these grim episodes .Unfortunately, our education system does not inculcate values of gender justice among us so we are not ready to give an equal space and agency to women.

The women Empowerment in a place like Kashmir is need of the hour .Empowering women is essential to the health and social development of families, communities and countries. When women are living safe, fulfilled and productive lives, they can reach their full potential. contributing their skills to the workforce and can raise happier and healthier children.

Opportunities in India for women have increased manifold and their active participation and willingness to participate needs to be promoted by the people and authorities in Kashmir alike.

JK Awami Aawaz Party stated that it would continue series of programmes on the issues facing youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
