
J&K gets 6th rank in NAS 2021, Plus Two Teachers Association hails admin
All J&K +2 Lecturers Association expressed its deep satisfaction over the NAS 2021 report which was released by Ministry of Education, Government of India on May 25, 2022.
It is a matter of great pleasure that the UT has improved from 17th rank in NAS 2017 to 6th rank in overall performance, the statement said.
The average performance in most of the subjects is better than national average. It is by dint of the hard work of the teachers teaching at different levels and under the able leadership of Principal Secretary Mr. B.K. Singh that the School Education is witnessing an encouraging improvement in learning levels despite the difficult situation that arose due to Covid 19 pandemic in last two years.
The UT administration and School Education Department took a series of interventions for mitigating learning gaps due to covid and enhancing the learning levels of the students.
At HRM level, transitions of thousands of teachers took place, in situ and functional promotions, confirmations, filling of vacant positions at different levels were made during last two years. Such initiatives are morale boosting for teachers teaching at different levels.
The Association appeals all teacher fraternity to work with more dedication and commitment for the betterment of students in particular and the society in general.
The department was requested to hear and redress the grievance of school administrators and teaching personal on priority to take educational scenario to new heights in coming years and to help achieve the objectives Educational Transformation Year 2022.
