All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Association terms CS interaction with teachers as ‘historic’
All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Association considers the first-ever interactive conference of teachers led by Chief Secretary JKUT, Dr. A.K. Mehta at SKICC on 13-7-2022 as historic.
The association hails the initiative, as it provided a great opportunity for teachers to share their views regarding the implementation of NEP-2022 and for the betterment of the school educational scenario in UT.
The +2 cadre led by Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan threw light on diverse measures including effective Human Resource Management, time-bound employees’ grievance redressal and career progression will go a long way in boosting the morale of the employees as well as promoting efficient delivery and school governance system.
Worthy CS in response to a question regarding lasting stagnation at the +2 level, acknowledged the fact and insisted that stagnation needs to be eliminated by taking appropriate measures to provide them ample opportunities for career progression and growth. The association thanks CS for issuing on-spot instructions in this regard.
The Association reiterated its acknowledgement that SED is witnessing progressive changes under the dynamic leadership of PS SED, B. K. Singh ji. for the first time bulk of promotions of CEOs, Principals, Sr. Lecturers, ZEOs, Headmasters, regularisation in most of the subjects have been made and above all transparent transfer system (ATD) has provided relief to thousands of members of teachers teaching at different levels. It has been coupled with email-based grievance redressal system which is appreciable.
The Association is highly thankful to B.K Singh ji for initiating such a slew of measures and +2 cadre is hopeful that more employee-friendly steps are taken to promote better work culture in the department.
The Association requests worthy CS to make such interactive conferences with the teaching fraternity a regular feature in the interest of the betterment of the school education in UT. Association also thanks Director School Education Kashmir Dr. Tassaduq Hussain for organising and managing such a great event where teachers freely expressed their views and shared experience. The Association also expressed its gratitude to Director School Education Jammu, Additional Secretary SED and other officers and participants for making this a successful programme.
The association reassured its commitment to work with dedication and determination for imparting quality education to the students in Jammu and Kashmir.
