Kupwara Photography Club organised a meeting at TRC Kupwara on the Theme: Future plan and strategy for tourism awareness and development in District Kupwara.
Many people from different walks of life participated in this meeting and representing different areas of Kupwara including Lolab, Kalaroos, Kralpora, Manzgam, Kachhama, Nagri and Handwara.
In this meeting Senior Photographer Manzoor Bhat Sb, Founder KPC Roshan Shehab, Advocate Umer Mir and Er Shahid Wani expressed their views about different avenues of exploring and bringing Kupwara on Tourism Map. Er Wani emphasized on Economy oriented tourism in Kupwara and also suggested to work with TAAK for better tourist on flow.
Showkat Faheem founder of Trekking warriors also spoke related to the great possibilities of hiking and trekking at different places of kupwara, he also spoke about Environment cleanliness and other programs to be taken into consideration.
KPC body including Pz Mumin, Rahat khan, Jaffer Khan, Mir Uzair and Pir Yasir shared their suggestions and pledged their full support.
Among many things, following points were put down for future:
1. Identification, development and preservation of tourist places.
2. Development of infrastructure after preparing Master Plan.
3. Print, Digital and Social media campaign for tourism awareness.
4. Work on Safe and clean environment in kupwara.
5. Public transport facility to all the tourist destinations. And many more things were discussed in this fruitful meeting.
On the end Roshan Shehab thanked all the members who came from distant places for this meeting and he said that “let us work together for a better change”.
